She had been in ill health for the past year or so. (Funeral details followed) Bonnie J. McIntyre was born July 1, 1924 at Wolbach, Nebraska to Gerald and Gladys Perry, and departed his life on August 3, 1962 at the Lutheran Hospital in Grand Island, Nebraska at the age of 38 years, one month and two days. She was a resident of the Wolbach Community all her life and received her formal education in the Wolbach schools. She and Ted McIntyre were married January 12, 1945. After their marriage they settled on a farm near Wolbach. She was a member of the Lutheran Church in Wolbach, where she had been given a lifetime membership in U.L.C.W. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Ted, one daughter, Nicki Jo, her father and one brother, Gerald Perry, Jr. all of Wolbach, and one sister, Mrs. Geraldine Moore of Greenville, Mississippi. Preceding her in death were her mother, one infant son, one infant daughter, two brothers and two sisters. ~~~~~~~ As reprinted from the Wolbach Messenger in The Phonograph-Herald, April 13, 2016 in the column "90 Years Ago, 1926" - Bonnie June, the baby daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Perry, had a rather narrow escape last Friday afternoon when she fell into the water tank while playing out in the yard. She was saved by her older sister, Geraldine, who is but a little over three years old, but who, seeing the baby's plight, caught hold of her clothing and held her head above water and screamed until older folks came to life the child out of the tank. What might have been a tragedy was averted by the little girl's prompt action.
