Description	:	Bonnie L. Hasselbusch, 76, of Solon, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 30, 2019. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 2, at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence. Memorials may be made to the Keokuk Community Foundation, Holden Cancer Center at the University of Iowa, St Paul United Church of Christ or the Solon United Methodist Church in her memory. Bonnie Lou Paist was born August 11, 1942, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Earl and Elsie (Brunson) Paist, the twin to her sister Connie. She grew up in Stanwood and graduated from Lincoln Community High School in 1960. She married Ivan Lee Hasselbusch on June 26, 1965. Ivan’s career led the couple to live in such diverse places as Glen Ellyn and Decatur, Illinois, Cedar Rapids, Cincinnati, Ohio, Brussels, Belgium and The Hague, Netherlands. They settled in Keokuk and lived there for 36 years and were members of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Kings Daughters, P.E.O., the Keokuk Country Club and Ladies of the Elks. She enjoyed playing ladies golf at both golf clubs in Keokuk. Upon moving to Solon in 2017, she became a member of the Solon United Methodist Church. She enjoyed her afternoon coffee group with her friends at Keokuk Hy-Vee. Above all, her family meant everything to her. She is survived by her husband, Ivan; one son, Jeffrey (Michele) Hasselbusch of Keokuk, two daughters, Jodi (Matthew) Nichols of O’Fallon, MO, and Monica (Matthew) High of Solon; nine grandchildren, Ryan, Andrew, Ashlyn and Kaitlyn Nichols, Marissa and Lauren Hasselbusch and Payton, Devyn and Justin High; two sisters, Jeraldine (Keith) Flockhart and Carole Worby, both of Stanwood; one brother-in-law, Lester Brown of Mechanicsville; and several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her twin sister, Connie Brown, and one brother-in-law, Darrell Worby. Chapman Funeral Homes
