Description	:	Bradley L. McKinzie, 54 of Callaway, Nebraska, passed away Saturday August 8, 2015, at the Callaway District Hospital. Brad was born August 26, 1960 in Callaway, the son of Lawerance “Red” and Carolyn (Edgington) McKinzie. McKinzie, 54 of Callaway, Nebraska, passed away Saturday August 8, 2015, at the Callaway District Hospital. Brad was born August 26, 1960 in Callaway, the son of Lawerance “Red” and Carolyn (Edgington) McKinzie. He attended school in Callaway and lived with Maurice and Irene Edgington, graduating with the class of 1979. On May 1, 1982, he was united in marriage to Jeri Rae Meyer in Callaway. To this union two children were born, Andrew & Abbigail. The couple lived in North Platte for a few years and then returned to Callaway in 1990, to raise their children in a smaller community. Brad was employed for several businesses as a mason until his health forced him to retire three years ago. Brad worked on several projects, but was most proud of being involved in the Lower Forty restaurant in Callaway. Brad was a member of the Callaway United Methodist Church, and a past member of the Parian Masonic Lodge #207. Brad’s greatest joy was spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cribbage, Husker football and the Denver Broncos. Brad is survived by his wife: Jeri Rae of Callaway; son, Andrew of Broken Bow, Nebraska; daughter, Abbigail and companion Devin Jaworski of Broken Bow, Nebraska; sister, Pam and husband Douglas Baker of North Platte, Nebraska; two grandchildren, Connor and Sylas McKinzie of Broken Bow, Nebraska; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jerry and Nadia Meyer of Callaway; two brothers-in-law: Jeff and Wendie Meyer of Wayne, Nebraska, and, Randy and Roxi Meyer of Callaway, Nebraska; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Brad was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother Brent Larson. It was Brad’s wishes his body be cremated. A Celebration Of Life Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 15, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at the Callaway Community Church with Pastor Dean Haidle officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Callaway. Timm-Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Callaway is assisting the family with arrangements
