Description	:	Brian J. Ham, 46, Frederick, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at Avera St. Luke's Hospital, Aberdeen, SD, do to a sudden, brief illness. Brian was blessed to be surrounded by his loving family and friends at the time of his passing. Brian told his family,"I am a believer and no matter what happens, I will be victorious." Brian James was born July 24, 1961 to LeRoy and Hellen (Berreth) Ham in Aberdeen, SD. He graduated from Frederick High School in 1979 and worked on the family farm. Brian James was born July 24, 1961 to LeRoy and Hellen (Berreth) Ham in Aberdeen, SD. He graduated from Frederick High School in 1979 and worked on the family farm. Brian was 3rd generation to operate the family farm. He was also 3rd generation to attend First Assembly Of God Church in Aberdeen. Brian and Rebecca Geranen were united in marriage December 18, 1981 in Aberdeen, SD. In 1995, they purchased and moved to the family farm. He was active outdoors with his jet ski, snowmobiling, boating and hunting. He enjoyed sharing his water toys with family and friends. He was a member of the Drift Busters Snowmobile Club and served on the Oneota Township Board. He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, and mother-in-law. Grateful to have shared in Brian's life are his wife, Rebecca of Frederick, SD, his parents, LeRoy and Hellen Ham of Barnard, two sisters, Diana (Marlin) Kirschenmann of Aberdeen, SD, and Marcia Fink of Ipswich, SD. Two brothers, Larry (Linda) Ham of Rogersville, MO. and Kevin (Lisa) Ham of Westport, SD. Pallbearers are Tony Cooper, Roger Berreth, Robin Ham, Jason Ham, Doug Geranen and Al Geranen. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brian's nieces, nephews and friends. Ushers will be Shawn Gengerke and Randy Padgett. Funeral service will be Monday, April 14, 2008 at First Assembly Of God Church, Hwy. 281 No. with Pastor Gary Wileman officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Schriver's Memorial Mortuary.
