Description	:	Bruce Allen Bly was the brother of "Page Pioneer" Donna Jane (Bly) Germeraad. Our husband and father went to heaven to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 17, 2009, in Billings, Montana. He was so loved and will be missed terribly. He fought a good fight with Type 2 Diabetes, prostate cancer, lung cancer, and Nocardia, a very rare fungus which attacks the lungs that are compromised. Bruce was born on July 2, 1933, to William "Bull" and Frances Mae (Smith) Bly in Billings. He graduated from a Vo-tech welding school and, in December of 1949, he joined the United States Air Force. Bruce honorably served his country for over 24 years. His service included the Korean conflict, Vietnam War, and a rank of Staff Sergeant before retiring in 1974. Bruce married Jean Lucille Green on January 29, 1971 in Cody, Wyoming, and shared 41 wonderful years together before his passing. Bruce was preceded in death by his father, William Bly, and his daughter, Brandy Williams. He is survived by his loving wife, Jean; his mother, Frances; his five children, Kathleen Joan Long and Carline (Carrie) Ann Downing, both of Carlsbad, NM, Dalton Wynn Bly of Nine Mile Falls, WA, Julie Ann Keeler of Huntley, and Ivy Jo Fortenberry of Spokane, WA; his sister, Donna Jane Germeraad of Columbia, TN; and from our blended families, 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, along with many fishing buddies and close friends. Thank you, Bruce, for the love you gave to all of us. Find a big lake, honey, and fish, fish, fish. I love you, sweetheart, your wife, Jeannie. Burial at Mountview Cemetery with military honors took place immediately following the services.
