Description	:	Burchard Franklin Markle was born at Crounse, Nebr., May 15, 1876 and passed from this life February 25, 1946 at the age of 69 years, 9 months and 10 days. He was a member of the Crounse Methodist church. All his life with the exception of a few years was spent in Nebraska. His home was made at Tamora at the time of his death. Read More	Burchard Franklin Markle was born at Crounse, Nebr., May 15, 1876 and passed from this life February 25, 1946 at the age of 69 years, 9 months and 10 days. He was a member of the Crounse Methodist church. All his life with the exception of a few years was spent in Nebraska. His home was made at Tamora at the time of his death. He was married to Maude Bovee. One child, Mabel Lipman, was born to this union. On May 30, 1904, after his first wife's untimely death, he was married to Viva Edith (nee Groves) Aaron. To this union was born three daughters, Berneice Greenwood of Utica; Mrs. Herbert Eppenbaugh of Utica; Mrs. George (Lucille) Bowers of Cheyenne, Wyoming; and two sons, Keith Markle of Seward and Kenneth Markle of Stuttgart, Arkansas. His wife preceded him in death eight years ago. He is also survived by two step-children, Irene Aaron of York and Arthur Aaron of Denver, Colorado, two brothers and four sisters.Mr. Markle at the time of his death had 14 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He also leaves a great number of friends who mourn his passing.Funeral services were held at the Chain & Wood Chapel on Friday afternoon, March 1 at 2 p.m., Rev. Don E. Springer, pastor of the Methodist church officiating. Burial was in the Seward cemetery.
