Description	:	Viva Edith Groves, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elijah J. Groves, was born on April 29, 1876 in Cass County, Nebraska, and departed this life on April 25, 1938, at her home in Tamora. She moved to Seward county with her parents, two brothers and two sisters, where she has resided until her demise. She was baptized in the Dunkard church as a child and later united with the United Brethren Church of Seward. Read More	Viva Edith Groves, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elijah J. Groves, was born on April 29, 1876 in Cass County, Nebraska, and departed this life on April 25, 1938, at her home in Tamora. She moved to Seward county with her parents, two brothers and two sisters, where she has resided until her demise. She was baptized in the Dunkard church as a child and later united with the United Brethren Church of Seward. Since moving to Tamora she has affiliated with the Methodist church, attending its services when able. She was united in marriage to Mr. Sam Aaron, April 1896. Mr. Aaron passed to the life beyond, May 1899. There were three children born to this union: Arthur of Denver, Colo., Irene of York, Nebr., and Ray, who preceded his parents in death in infancy. On May 30, 1904, Mrs. Aaron was married to Burchard Markle at Seward, Nebr. Five children were born to this union: Mrs. Jim Greenwood of Utica, Nebr. Mrs. Herbert Eppenbaugh, also of Utica, Mrs. George Bowers of Seward, Keith of Tamora and Kenneth of Tamora. Mrs. Markle's mother preceded her in death, but her father, Mr. Elijah. J. Groves of Garland, her husband, seven children, eight grandchildren, and brother Tom Groves of Lincoln, Nebr., one sister, Mrs. Maude Markle of Elgin, Arizona, many relatives and a host of friends mourn her departure. Rev. George A. Morey offciated at the services. The singers were Mrs. Ruth Gembler and Marjorie Gembler, and pianist, Miss Margaret Lamdin. Seward Independent, Seward, NE, Thurs, Apr 28. 1938 Germantown (now Garland) Items Married - On Saturday, April 25, at the home of the bride's parents, Sam Aaron, Jr. to Viva Groves. Blue Valley Blade, Seward, NE, Wed, May 6, 1896 Mrs. Albert Worlein died at her home in Lincoln with consumption August 16, 1899. Deceased was but 23 years of age and leaves a husband and two small children to mourn her loss. Mrs. Worlein was a sister of Sam Aaron, who died but a few months ago of the same disease.
