Description	:	Byron Amos Baker son of Achilles and Rebecca Dillen Baker was born at Nashville, Michigan 2 September 1862 and after an illness of a years duration, quietly passed away at his farm house south of Weeping WAter 19 June 1936 His age was 72 years 9 months and 17 days. When a samll boy he moved with his parents to Weston Michigan where they lived until they moved to Cheyenne Wyoming in 1881. Read More	Byron Amos Baker son of Achilles and Rebecca Dillen Baker was born at Nashville, Michigan 2 September 1862 and after an illness of a years duration, quietly passed away at his farm house south of Weeping WAter 19 June 1936 His age was 72 years 9 months and 17 days. When a samll boy he moved with his parents to Weston Michigan where they lived until they moved to Cheyenne Wyoming in 1881. He came to Nebraska in 1885 and was married to Margaret Howsmon 28 Feb. 1868 they settled in a farm near Cushing and later in the present family home since June 1907. Mr. and Mrs. Baker raised 11 children, and one of whom Blanche, preceded him in death. Mrs. Baker died in 1931. He leaves to mourn his loss the following children, MRs. Elvira Bussell, of Wolbach, NE. Robert of WEeping Wter, Charles of Toledo Ohio, Sam, Olive Johnson, Edna, Creda Johnson, Freda Jensen, Byron and Bill all of Weeping WAter. He also leaves a brother Sam, a half sister Fannie Rodgers, 10 grandchildren and 1 great grand child. He was a carpenter by trade and many of the beautifel homes dotted here and there are the work of his hands. He loved to build and took great pleasure in his work, he retired from active labor about 2 years ago and since that time spent many ahppy hours in his shop, fashioning many beautiful pieces of cabinet work. In later years he enjoyed several trips east where he visited his childhood home. the pall bearers were Chris Elgaard, Harold Thomason, E. C. Haning, Frank Domingo, Henry Crother and C. H. Binger, interment was at Oakwood cemetery WEeping WAter, Nebraska
