Description : Dennis Lipari was a Captain for the Douglas County Sheriff's Department. He died in the line of duty at age 39. Captain Lipari was having dinner with his wife and several other Officers in a Club, while off-duty. A black gunman, Ulysses Cribbs, entered the Club with a shotgun and opened fire. Captain Lipari immediately took action, but was shot and killed. 24 other people were shot and wounded in the incident.
