Description	:	Capt. John Hutcheson was the son of John & Elizabeth Chiles Hutcheson of Mecklenburg County. Capt. John was a member of the Mecklenburg County Militia & a member of the "Court of Gentlemen Justices" of Mecklenburg. The family lived in the home of his parents which was located on 720 acres of land west of Laton's Creek and east of Let-alone Creek. It lay on the county rd# 658. The timbers and brick of this home were later removed and incorporated in the Boydton, VA home of Judge Charles Sterling Hutcheson. Capt John married three... Read More	Capt.
