| Description | : | I took Oliff's date of birth from 1900 census but cemetery book gives year of birth as 1831. Oliff came to the United States when he was about 14 years old. After a short time in New York and then Illinois, he came West in 1852. He married Eunice Tracy (Huntington) in 1858 and together they had 12 children. He built and ran a couple of stores in Freeport, which was one of our oldest towns in this area.
