Description	:	Carl Allen Striggow, son of the late Charles and Elizabeth Striggow, was born Sept. 17, 1899 at Broadwell, Ill., and passed away at Brodstone Hospital in Superior, Nebr., April 8, 1962 at the age of 62 years, 6 months and 21 days. He moved with his parents when an infant to a farm near Davenport. He was baptized and later confirmed into the Lutheran Church at Davenport, transferring membership to the Community Church at Oak. Read More	Carl Allen Striggow, son of the late Charles and Elizabeth Striggow, was born Sept. 17, 1899 at Broadwell, Ill., and passed away at Brodstone Hospital in Superior, Nebr., April 8, 1962 at the age of 62 years, 6 months and 21 days. He moved with his parents when an infant to a farm near Davenport. He was baptized and later confirmed into the Lutheran Church at Davenport, transferring membership to the Community Church at Oak. He graduated from Davenport high school, going on to attend college at Lincoln and Grand Island and taught school near Davenport for six years. He was united in marriage to Miss Hazel Comstock on Jan. 14, 1930 at Nelson, Nebr. To this union eight children were born, three sons and five daughters. Carl was a member of the Modern Woodman Lodge. He always took an active part in the betterment of the community. For the last 20 years of his life her served as a rural mail carriers out of Oak, always serving his patrons faithfully. He is survived by his wife, Hazel; three sons, Allen and Larry of Superior and Charles of Clay Center; his five daughters, Bonnie Colgrove of Superior, Mona Hansen and Jean Schott of Oak, Shirley Jacobitz of Campbell and June Andelt of Lawton, Okla.; five sons-in-law, two daughters-in-law, thirteen grandchildren, two brothers, Fred of San Diego, Calif., and Clyde of Colon, one sister, Ruth Moon of California and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother. Carl was a kind and loving husband and father and esteemed by all who knew him.
