Description	:	Carl Daniel Emrick Sr., 66, 1840 Wendell Ave., died at 11:25 a.m. Friday at Lima Memorial Hospital following a one-month illness. Born in St. Johns, Ohio, Sept. 22, 1891, Mr. Emrick came to Lima in 1913 where he was employed at the Westinghouse Plant. Mr. Emrick served as chairman of the Sick Committee, Circle W, until his retirement a year and a half ago. Following retirement, he became associated with the Frank X. Barrett Real Estate Co. Read More	Carl Daniel Emrick Sr., 66, 1840 Wendell Ave., died at 11:25 a.m. Friday at Lima Memorial Hospital following a one-month illness. Born in St. Johns, Ohio, Sept. 22, 1891, Mr. Emrick came to Lima in 1913 where he was employed at the Westinghouse Plant. Mr. Emrick served as chairman of the Sick Committee, Circle W, until his retirement a year and a half ago. Following retirement, he became associated with the Frank X. Barrett Real Estate Co. He was a member of the First Evangelical and Reform Church, and a former deacon of the church, a member of Garrett Wykoff No. 585 F and AM, and was a 32nd degree mason. Mr. Emrick was also a member of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Dayton. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Augusta Emrick of the family home; one son, Carl D. Emrick Jr. of Cridersville; two brothers, Ernest Emrick of St. Johns and Scott Emrick of Cridersville; one sister, Mrs. Clem Hormann of Wapakoneta, and three grandchildren. Friends may call at Cantwell-Sweet Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Saturday. The body will be removed to the First E and R Church at 1 p.m. Monday where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Rev. Richard Vitz, of the church, will officiate assisted by Rev. Paul Graser, former pastor of the church. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima. Scottish Rite Services will be at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. (published in The Lima News, Saturday, February 15, 1958)
