Description	:	Carl Prischmann was born in Roadstock, Germany, Feb. 3, 1844 and lived one year in Philadelphia after coming to this country. He also lived several years in Omaha. He lived near Plainview for three years before removing to the present family home, which he purchased from B.G. Jones. He was married 48 years ago and three children survive him from this marriage. Read More	Carl Prischmann was born in Roadstock, Germany, Feb. 3, 1844 and lived one year in Philadelphia after coming to this country. He also lived several years in Omaha. He lived near Plainview for three years before removing to the present family home, which he purchased from B.G. Jones. He was married 48 years ago and three children survive him from this marriage. One daughter still living in Germany and a son, Carl Jr. and a daughter, Mrs. August Jurchen living here. He was married to his present wife, Miss Augusta Moebus 28 years ago and has two sons living from the marriage. Mr. Prischmann died January 12 from the effects of two paralytic strokes, which he received in close succession, living only a few hours. He suffered a severe stroke a few years ago and his life hung in the balance for a long time, but he had apparently recovered and was as vigorous as ever and attended to his business affairs as well as usual. He was an energetic, steady man full of business and a good man for any community. The present prosperous condition of the Prischmann mill and store are the direct results of his energy and enterprise. The funeral was held Thursday from the German Lutheran church and interment made in the Creighton cemetery. The bereaved have the sympathy of all.
