Description	:	Walter Prischmann, 72, Dies Following Stroke Walter Prischmann, a longtime Knox County resident, died at the local hospital Tuesday, March 31, after suffering a stroke at his home. He had been in poor health for a number of years. He was 72 years of age. Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. Edward Keller, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Carl, Thomas and Daniel Prischmann, Daryle Urwiler, Kevin Waring and Wayne Scheer. Eugene Walter Prischmann, son of Carl and Augusta Prischmann, was born in Omaha on May 10, 1891. At the age of two, he moved with his parents to a farm near Plainview. Three years later the family moved to a farm northwest of Creighton and he resided there until 1956, when he and his wife retired and moved into Creighton. Mr. Prischmann was married to Martha Scheer on Feb. 26, 1919 at Christ Lutheran Church, Bazile Mills. Three children were born to them, two of whom survive. He was a member of the Lutheran Church all his life, having been baptized in infancy. He was a faithful member of Zion Lutheran Church for many years. Survivors include his wife; one son, Carl of Fergus Falls, Minn.; one daughter, Mrs. Willilam (Dorothy) Henes of Creighton and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Wilma; a brother; a sister; a half brother and two half sisters.
