Description	:	Carl Graham MOORESVILLE Carl Joseph Graham, 91, of Mount Ulla, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013, at his residence. He was born March 20, 1922, in Mount Ulla, to the late John and Inez Lipe Graham. Mr. Graham was a graduate of Mt. Ulla High School. He was a lifelong farmer and worked at Barium Springs Home for Children from 1982 to 1994. Read More	Carl Graham MOORESVILLE Carl Joseph Graham, 91, of Mount Ulla, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013, at his residence. He was born March 20, 1922, in Mount Ulla, to the late John and Inez Lipe Graham. Mr. Graham was a graduate of Mt. Ulla High School. He was a lifelong farmer and worked at Barium Springs Home for Children from 1982 to 1994. Mr. Graham was a lifelong member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, where he was very active and was a member of the Congregation Council. He was a founding member of the Millbridge Ruritan Club and an avid fiddle player. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Nesbit Graham, whom he married Nov. 28, 1954; brother, Thomas Graham; and sisters, Mary Helen Poteat and Ruth Brown. He is survived by his children, Stan L. Graham and wife, Carol; Carol Parrish and husband, Mark; sisters, Doris McCarn and Polly Sutton and husband, Ed; grandchildren, Katie Graham, Jason Graham and fiancée, Jill, Travis Graham, Carley Graham and David Parrish. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today (Sunday, April 7), at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Mary Louise Sitton officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. The family received friends Saturday, April 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. The family would like express sincere thanks to Carl’s caregivers, Adam, Elaine, Gretta and Lisa. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church Building Fund, 11020 NC Hwy 801, Mt. Ulla, NC 28125. Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, Mooresville, is serving the Graham family.
