Survivors include his son, Carl Joseph Bernert of Sunset, Utah, 9 Grandchildren, and 1 Sister Mary Langer of Mason City, NE. Funeral services fro Carl age 72 years was held on Monday April 30, 1973 at 10a.m. in St Thomas Catholic Church in Mason City, NE. Pallbearers were Charles, Bernard, & Jim Zimmer. Bill Vocke, Jed & Mike Mooney.
