Description	:	Carl Leopold Hahnau was born in Germany December 14, 1849. He was united in marriage to Lena Norish on September 1, 1872. To them were born nine children, 6 preceding him in death. He passed away at Stanton, Nebraska, May 28, 1927, age 77 years, 5 months and 4 days. He came to America in the year 1885. They lived in Winser for a year, then came to Stanton. Miller of Wolback, Nebraska; eleven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral was held from the Nicholas Undertaking Parlors Sunday afternoon at 2:00 P.M. conducted by the Rev. W.H.
