He was the youngest child of Louisa Kristenia Sandahl and Swen Peter Anderson. On April 25, 1929 he was united in marriage to Ethel Emma Spark at Manhattan, Ks. To this union two daughters were born. Read More	Carl Paul Anderson was born may 10, 1901 at Olsburg, ks., and passed away Feb. 22, 1985 at Topeka, Ks. at the age of 83. He was the youngest child of Louisa Kristenia Sandahl and Swen Peter Anderson. On April 25, 1929 he was united in marriage to Ethel Emma Spark at Manhattan, Ks. To this union two daughters were born. They resided in Clay Center most of their lives. He operated a feed store in Riley, Ks., prior to his retirement in 1966. He resided in their home in Clay Center until ill health caused him to move to the Topeka Convalescent Center to be with his wife. During the three years he resided at the Topeka Convalescent Center he stayed active, participating in all their activities. He was voted the "Volunteer Resident of the Year: in 1981 and 1984. He was an active member of their choir and was always there to help and make sure everyone made it to all the activities. Preceding him were his parents, one brother and two sisters. The survivors are his wife, Ethel, of Topeka; two daughters, Mary North and husband Harold of Topeka and June Wellner and husband Garner of Blue Springs, Mo.; a sister, Emma Williams of Clay Center; eight grandchildren and one great grandson. Services were held Monday, Feb. 25 at the Neill-Schwensen Chapel in Clay Center with the Rev. Harold Hotchkiss officiating. Soloist was Deanna Hammond of Clay Center. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons; Jay North, Doug North, Gary Wellner and Greg Wellner, and nephews, Dan Anderson and Warren Anderson.
