Description	:	Death came Saturday evening to Victor Bloomgren. Although he had been in poor health for many months, his end came suddenly. Funeral services were held at the Merten Bros. Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon and burial was made in the Blue Hill Cemetery. Rev. J.N. Marxen was in charge of the service. Martin and Emil Wagoner. Carl Victor Bloomgren was born December 21, 1897, at Little Falls, Minnesota, and the son of Mr. & Mrs. Charles Bloomgren. In 1901, he moved with his parents to Mountain Grove, MO and in 1919 came to Blue Hill where he has since made his home most of the time. He worked as a laborer on the Burlington and Union Pacific railroads, and also spent some time as a farm worker. The deceased had been in ill health the past five years. He passed away at the family home in Blue Hill on December 10, at the age of 51 years, 11 months and 11 days. His father preceded him in death. Survivors are his two sons, John and Robert and one daughter, Bessie; his mother, Mrs. Hulda Bloomgren, four brothers and four sisters; Lewis of Oxford, George of McCook, Ernest of Omaha, Elmer of Bird City, Kansas; Mrs. Ellen Stark and Miss Elsie of Blue Hill, Mrs. Olga Jarvis of Mountain Grove, MO; Mrs. Hulda Schworer of Wilder, Idaho. "Who knows how near my end may be, time speeds away, and death comes on. How swiftly, and how suddenly, death may be here, and life be gone. My God, for Jesus' sake I pray, bless with thy grace my dying day. Amen." Attending the funeral from out of town were Louis, Elmer and Ernest Bloomgren, Mr. & Mrs. R.W.
