Mrs. Funni had been a secretary and bookkeeper for Beals Office Machines and a receptionist and greeter at Hogenkamp-Weber Funeral Home. She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church. She was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370 Auxiliary, Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks Lodge 54 and Knights of Columbus Council 2661 Auxiliary. She had been a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275 Auxiliary. She had been an Elkette's golfer and a member of the Elk's Bridge Club. Survivors include four daughters, Sharon Moening, of Elida, Carol Lee (Jim) Mitchell, of Lima, Linda (Mark) Cummings, of Elida, and Diane (Jim) Lee, of Lima; 12 grandchildren, Rick (Erica) Moening, Rob (Carri) Moening, Michelle (Andy) Etzkorn, Steve (Kristen) Mitchell, Lori (Mike) Lockhart, Kevin Mitchell, Mike (Brenda) Santaguida, Nic Santaguida, Erica (David) Thomas, Shaila Cummings, James (Dena) Lee, and Allison (fiancé Brandon Buehler) Lee; 15 great-grandchildren; three siblings, Richard (Pat) Flick, of Lima, Patricia (Ken) Zimerle, of Florida, and Mary Zarro, of Lima. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Thomas Moening; a great-grandson, Anthony Santaguida; and two brothers, Joseph Jr. and William Flick. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Rose Catholic Church. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home, where a parish wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Rose Catholic Church or the athletic department at Lima Central Catholic High School.
