Read More	Laue, Carol Louise Wiley May 28, 1918 – Oct. 9, 2013 OVERBROOK—Carol Louise Wiley Laue, Lyndon, died Oct. 9, 2013, at Brookside Retirement, Overbrook. She was 95. She was born May 29, 1918, at Ringling, Mont., the daughter of George and Eva Woodbury Wiley. Her family lived in many areas of the country, but she was raised in Olivet and had lived between Lyndon and Vassar for 72 years. She taught in rural schools for three years, earned a degree from Brown Mackie College, worked for Kansas Department of Health in vital statistics and Osage County Health Department. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church. She married Henry J. Laue April 13, 1941, at Manhattan. He preceded her in death on Jan. 25, 1994. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Don Laue in 1977; her parents; and five brothers, Albert, Rlyn, Ray, Neil and Keith. She is survived by two daughters, Eva Anschutz, Lyndon, and Sharon Eilert and husband, John, Beloit; a daughter-in-law, Betty Sanders and husband, Harvey, Marion; two brothers, Russel Wiley, California, and Cloyce Wiley, Missouri; a sister, Grace Jordan, Lyndon; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson. Funeral services were Oct. 13 at Zion Lutheran Church, Vassar. Burial followed at Vassar Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church or Lyndon Carnegie Library, and sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Ave., Lyndon, KS 66451.
