Read More	Grace M. Jordan, Lyndon, died Aug. 23, 2015, at Vintage Park, Osage City. She was 92. She was born Oct. 5, 1922, near Leoti, the daughter of George and Eva Woodbury Wiley. She lived in Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa and Illinois before moving back to the Lyndon area in 1983. She had been in Osage City for the last few years. She graduated from Olivet High School in 1939. She served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as an airplane mechanic. She worked as a bookkeeper and food service manager at a truck stop at Joliet, Ill., Rock Creek Country Club, Burlington, and Big Boy Restaurant, Ottawa. She was a member of Lyndon United Methodist Church, Lyndon American Legion Post No. 125 and volunteered at the V.A. Hospital, Topeka. She married Charles “Chuck” Jordan Nov. 19, 1949, at Bentonville, Ark. He preceded her in death on March 8, 1998. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Rodney Edwards; and a great-grandson, Kaleb Hobbs. She is survived by two children, Deb Edwards and husband, Daryl, and Byron Jordan and wife, Mary, all of Lyndon; two brothers, Russ Wiley, Madera, Calif., and Cloyce Wiley, Dayton, Ohio; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Aug. 29 at Feltner Funeral Chapel, Lyndon. Burial with military honors will follow at Vassar Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30-8 p.m. Aug. 28 at Feltner Funeral Chapel, Lyndon. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post No. 125 or Colmery-O’Neil VA Hospital Women's Center and sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Ave., Lyndon, KS 66451.
