She then worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Greenfield, Iowa. She married William Hemphill in December, 1949. They lived in Fontanelle, Iowa, and shortly after moved to Greenfield. Mr. Hemphill's work moved the family to Oelwein, Iowa and that was followed by a move to Muscatine, Iowa. In 1977, they came to Sterling. |
