Carol was born on March 4, 1944, in Wolf Point, daughter of Jacob and Lottie Schlepp. She attended Circle High School, graduating in 1962. She later moved south, rancher gal becoming southern belle; living in St. Petersburg, Fla, Lakeland, Fla. Jackson, Miss., New Orleans, La,, Montgomery, Ala., and Pensacola, Fla. Carol also lived in San Diego, while working for Kraft Foods. Carol's love of the beautiful mountains and cool air of Montana brought her back home in 1999. She was a beautiful person with a kind heart, a loving mother and an incredibly proud and loving grandmother. An inspiration always of goodness and strength; touching peoples hearts with such profound love. She enjoyed a good laugh, many travels, loved music and dancing and good hair days. She loved the beach, the mountains, animals and all the beauty of nature. She enjoyed meeting new people and made many friends throughout the country. She was a master at throwing shrimp boils for family and friends, and ever the baker, enjoying baking pies. Everything she did was first class, whether finding that unique gift or in entertaining, she had a way of making everyone she touched feel very special. Ultimately, she found comfort in faith in her risen Savior, Jesus Christ. She is survived by two daughters; Debbie Kennedy of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Shelly Brophy of Parrish, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Samantha, Natalie, Frederick, Patrick, Drew, Holly and Austin; Joel D. Berry of Billings; brothers Mike Schlepp of Rose Lake, Idaho, Jake Schlepp of Wildomar, Calif., Paul Schlepp of Rose Lake, Idah; and sisters Chris Beem of Wamego, Kan. and Sheila Keefe of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be held from 3-5 p.m., on Sunday, April 26, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary in Billings. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., on Monday, April 27, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Billings.
