Surviving are her step-father and mother, Rev. and Mrs. Kenneth Paxton of Muscatine, Iowa; four brothers, Dale of Ottumwa, Iowa, Steven, David and Mark of Muscatine, and four sisters, Mrs. Patricia Downing of Omaha, Nebraska, Mrs. Delores Wilkins of Davenport, Iowa, Mrs. Barbara Ash of Burlington, Iowa, and Mrs. Marilyn Dobbs of Muscatine; nine nephews, six nieces and other relatives including aunts, uncles and cousins. The Funeral will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the First Church of the Open Bible with the Rev. William Chilcote officiating. The casket will be taken from Johnson's Funeral Chapel to the church at 9;00 a.m. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Vernon Conder, Sam Howk, Allen Ware, Mike Conder, R.C. (Junior) Downing and Larry Palmer. Omaha World Herald Truck Hits Car on 275; Woman Hurt A 28 year old woman was listed in critical condition at Bergan Mercy Hospital Thursday night after a hog-filled semitrailer truck was in collision with her car about three miles east of Fremont, the State Patrol said. Patrol officers were seeking an unidentified driver who they said began the chain of events which led to the accident. The injured woman, Carol J. Kirby, 1614 North Seventy- Second Street was driving west on Highway 275 when the accident occurred, Patrolman Clarence Mayhew said. The south lane of 275 was blocked at that point by workers blacktopping the highway, Mayhew said, and a flagman was directing westbound cars into the north lane. A middle-aged man in a white car driving ahead of Miss Kirby pulled into the north lane, then stopped in front of the flagman, Mayhew said. Miss Kirby braked but slid on pavement wet with new oil for the blacktop, Mayhew said. Behind her a double-decked semitrailer also skidded and "shoved in the whole left side of her car," Mayhew said. Miss Kirby's car and the truck, driven by Dallas Wells, of Red Oak, Iowa, ended up in the south ditch, Mayhew said. The man in the white car continued on into Fremont, notified authorities by telephone of the accident but did not identify himself, Mayhew said,
