Description	:	Carole L. Derrow, 80, of Defiance, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2012, after a brief illness. She was born on November 4, 1931, the daughter of the late Albert and Leona (Andrist) Sisco. Carole attended Defiance High School, and graduated from Galion High School "Class of 49." In 1953, she married Richard Holtshouse, in 1958 she married Paul Reiman, and in 1977 she married Jim Derrow, all preceding her in death. Derrow, 80, of Defiance, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2012, after a brief illness. She was born on November 4, 1931, the daughter of the late Albert and Leona (Andrist) Sisco. Carole attended Defiance High School, and graduated from Galion High School "Class of 49." In 1953, she married Richard Holtshouse, in 1958 she married Paul Reiman, and in 1977 she married Jim Derrow, all preceding her in death. While she was married to Paul Reiman, they owned and operated the Scenic Supper Club, Florida Ohio. They later purchased the Glass Bar, Stryker, where they owned and operated for many years. Carole had just returned from Florida where she spent the winters with her many friends. Carole enjoyed dancing, swimming, and playing bridge. She was also a member of the Defiance Elk's Lodge Auxillary, and the VFW Post 3360 Auxillary. Surviving is a daughter, Deb (Rod) Lucas, Antwerp, and a son, Greg (Jacie) Reiman, Defiance; seven grandchildren, Dustin and Steve Lucas, both of Antwerp; Cheri Baer, Grover Hill; Paige Reiman, Las Vegas Nev.; Blake, Brock, and Jaide Reiman, all of Defiance; six great-grandachildren, McCartney Lucas, Nick Stevenson, Doug Kashner, Coty and Danielle Baer and Landon Reiman. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Joyce Wichman. Visitation will be on Monday, June 11, 2012, from 4- 8 p.m. in Hanenkrath-Clevenger-Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2012, with Rev. Paul Myers officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Memory Gardens, Defiance.
