The Rev Marvin Flanscha will officiate and burial will be in St John's Cemetery. Mrs Armbrecht was born Karalena Rittierodt February 27, 1887 in Marshalltown, the daughter of August and Dora Ahrens Rittierodt. She was baptized April 10, 1887 and was confirmed April 8, 1900 by the Rev A J Boehm at St John's Lutheran Church. She was married December 5, 1907 to Henry Armbrecht in Marshall county, and they always lived near Clemons. Mrs Armbrecht was a lifetime member of St John's Lutheran Church, the Ladies Aid of the church, and the Neighborly Club. She had lived at the Marshall County Care Facility for the past two years. Survivors include five children: Emma Davis, Cedar Rapids; Elwood Armbrecht, Cedar Rapids; Oliver Armbrecht, Marshalltown; Theo Armbrecht and August Armbrecht, both of Clemons. She is also survived by a sister, Marie Swartz, State Center; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1948, four sisters, three brothers, a great granddaughter and a grandson.
