Description	:	Obituary Homer Index 1902 Mrs Thomas Hamilton. Caroline Barnes was born at Tenterton Kentshire England, January 2, 1826 and came to New York with her uncle and aunt on 1853. She married to Thomas Hamilton at Toronto Canada, Oct 28, 1858. They lived for a time at Syracuse NY but soon came to Tecumseh, Mi where they remained for a short time finally settling at Litchfield in 1868. Here they lived until about a year ago when they moved to Homer M to spend the remainder of their lives. She was stricken with paralysis Oct 21st and passed away the 8th of November. She died as... Read More	Obituary Homer Index 1902 Mrs Thomas Hamilton. Caroline Barnes was born at Tenterton Kentshire England, January 2, 1826 and came to New York with her uncle and aunt on 1853. She married to Thomas Hamilton at Toronto Canada, Oct 28, 1858. They lived for a time at Syracuse NY but soon came to Tecumseh, Mi where they remained for a short time finally settling at Litchfield in 1868. Here they lived until about a year ago when they moved to Homer M to spend the remainder of their lives. She was stricken with paralysis Oct 21st and passed away the 8th of November. She died as she lived in full assurance of faith in Christ. She leaves a husband to mourn the loss of a loving devoted wife and two children: Will T Hamilton of Litchfield Mi and Martha, Mrs John Kerr, of this place. The funeral was held Monday at her late residence, Rev. Cc Bradford officiating. To the many friends who so kindly assisted us during the sickness, death and burial of our beloved wife and mother, we wish to extend our heartfelt thanks.
