Description	:	Mrs. Caroline Kurriger, a pioneer resident of Muscatine, died shortly after noon today at her home, 1123 Logan street, following an extended illness. Heart trouble and pneumonia caused her death. She was 70 years old. Mrs. Kurriger, nee Caroline Brossart, was born August 20, 1848, in Germany, and came to Muscatine when but seven years old. Fifty years ago she married Oliver Kurriger, to which union eleven children were born, three of whom preceded her in death. Her husband died two years and five months ago. One sisters, Mrs. Mary Cherwinker of Haskins, Ia., and two brothers, Adam Brossart of Fairport and Joseph Brossart of Cedar Rapids, also survive.
