Description	:	Caroline's birth name was "Karna Christophersdotter." She was born in Möreby, a small village in the parish of Mjällby, in Blekinge county, Sweden. Sometime circa 1852, she married Sven Hansson. At the time they emigrated to America, on 23 Apr 1866, they had five children (a 6th had died in 1861). Their exact emigration route is unknown, but the 1870 census shows that they settled in York Twp., Carroll Co., Illinois. Then, sometime before 1880, they moved to Franklin County, Iowa.
