| Description | : | Was born about 1906 and was 24 years old at the time of death. She had taught for a number of years in the rural schools near Powell and was considered an efficient and conscientious teacher. In company with a party of friends she had gone to Spearfish to attend the summer term of school at the Normal and it was there that her illness seized her. She was taken to the hospital at Deadwood but it was found impossible to do anything for her. Her death was caused from blood poisoning from an infected toe. |
