Read More	Mrs. Patrick Dies Sunday In 86th Year Mrs. Caroline Harriet Patrick, 85, died Sunday afternoon at a local hospital where she was adminted four days ago. Mrs. Patrick broke her hip six years ago and had been a semi-invalid since. She was seriously ill the past week. Mrs. Patrick had resided in Canon City at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Karl Pinnell since 1938. She was born August 14, 1871, at Belvedere Ill., and was married to Joe Patrick on October 24, 1890, in Dana, Iowa. He preceded her in death in 1938 and one child also preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons, C. F. Patrick of Creston, Iowa, and B. E. of Inglewood, Calif., and three daughters, Mrs. Vivian Wilson of Denver, Mrs. Bess Pinnell of Canon City and Mrs. Eva Manhart of Tulsa, Okla. A sister, Mrs. Eva [BALCH] Dierks, resides in Comstock, Wis., and a brother and sister preceded Mrs. Patrick in death. There are also 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Services were held from the Wilson drawingroom Monday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Louis Haruf officiating. P. E. Stansell, accompanied by Mrs. Stansell, sang "Beautiful Isle." The remains were forwarded to Paton, Iowa, for graveside services to be held Wednesday, April 3, at 4 p.m. -+-+-+-+-+- Postponne Services For Mrs. Patrick Graveside services for Mrs. Joseph (Caroline) Patrick, scheduled for Wednesday, Apr. 3, have been postponed. The services will be held on Friday, Apr. 5, at 4 p.m. in the Paton township cemetery. Mrs. Patrick, a former Greene county resident, died at Canon City, Colo., on Mar. 31, and funeral services were held there on Mondy, Apr. 1. The body was being brought to Jefferson by train, and the recent blizzard in Colorado held up the train, making the postponement of services here necessary.
