Description	:	Mrs. Caroline Hallamore 1936 Bridgewater Bulletin The death of Mrs. Caroline Hallamore, an aged and respected resident of New Cornwall, occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bessie Dorey, at New Burne, on Sunday, April 19th, it being her 81st. birthday. She suffered a stroke about three months ago from which she never recovered. She was a daughter of the late David Hirtle. Her husband, Jacob Hallamore, predeceased her 34 years ago. The exact number of grand-and great grand-children is not known as they are so widely scattered but there are at least 65 grand-children and 55 great grand-children living. The funeral was held on Wednesday, April 22nd. The service was conducted by her pastor, Rev. R. MacFarlane, pastor of New Cornwall Baptist Church. Interment at New Cornwall Cemetery. Four of the grand-sons acted as pall-bearers, being chosen by the deceased.
