Read More	Carolyn Louise Neibauer of Billings, 87, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2005, at the Valley Health Care and Rehabilitation Center of Billings. She was born on Feb. 20, 1918, in Billings, the daughter of James and Jennie (Smith) Arnett. Carolyn attended Roosevelt and Senior High Schools in Billings. She spent nearly 50 years at her home on Garden Avenue until a recent illness. Carolyn married Alec C. Neibauer and lived on a small farm west of Billings with their four children: Alec, Larry, John and Jo Ann, until his death in 1947. She later married Herman Neibauer and moved to her current residence and had two more children: Ron and Patricia. Carolyn was devoted to her family and home. She had a lifelong love of Arabian horses, which she cared for until she was 81 years old. She, her daughter, Patricia, and granddaughters, Stefanie and Kristina, showed horses throughout the region. Carolyn is survived by daughters: Jo Ann Lee (Wayne) of Corona, Calif., and Patricia Kilts (Jerry) of Billings and two sons: Alec (Helen) and Ron of Billings; along with grandchildren Marty, Alan, Jason, Kelly, Stefanie, Kristina; and three great-grandchildren, Nathan, Addy and Abby; and numerous nephews and nieces. She is also survived by her sister, Beverly Metcalf of Laurel and brother James Arnett of Billings. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Alec and Herman; and two sons, Larry and John Neibauer. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 5, at Smith's Downtown Chapel, 925 S. 27th St. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 4, and on Thursday prior to the service. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at Valley Health Care and Rehabilitation Center for their wonderful care and kindness during her illness.
