Kephart (CAROLINE EASTON KEPHART) of Washington, which occurred at 5:45 yesterday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Rathmel in Kremlin, Okla., where Mrs. Kephart was spending the winter. She had been in Kremlin since September first. The body will be brought back to Washington for burial, but it is not known when the funeral party will arrive, and for that reason no announcement of the funeral service can be made today. Mrs. Kephart was ill only a few days of pneumonia. Her two daughters living in this community, Mrs. Silas Caldwell and Mrs. Ed Mayhew, were summoned to her bedside this week and were with their mother when she died. Less than a year ago Mr. Kephart died at his home in this city, being called on January 26, 1917. The three daughters and several step-children survive. She was a member of the Christian church and a splendid woman who will be mourned by many friends in the community.
