Departed this life March 17, 1919, age 64 years, 1 month, 10 days. She was united in marriage to Julius Sharnow [sic], Nov. 8 1876. Eleven children were born to the union, all of which survive her excepting one, who passed away 11 years ago, her husband also having preceded her to the grave some six months ago. Lived at Council Bluffs, Iowa, 6 years; from Council Bluffs the family moved to Clay County, Nebr., where a home was made for one year, after which a residence was established in Hamilton county. After a residence of 21 years in Hamilton county the family moved to Loup City where they resided for 6 years, later returning to Hamilton county 2 years ago where she resided with her son Otto until death claimed her. The deceased leaves to mourn her death 10 children, 26 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 1 sis... The children who survive her are Paul, recently returned from Camp Forest, Georgia; Richard of Broken Bow; Otto of Phillips; William who is still with the U. S. Army in France; Clara Bartz of Minatare; Martha Crumerine of Gering; Margaret Fent of Hastings; Emma Schmidt of Scotia; Ida Pray of Gering; Minnie Zwink of Loup City, all of which were present excepting the son who is in France. The funeral services were conducted from the home Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock, Rev. Harder of the Lutheran church south of Phillips being in charge. The deceased was confirmed in the Lutheran faith at an early age remaining a faithful and earnest worker all her life.
