She was born Dec. 17, 1870, in Ashmore, Ill., and moved to Kansas at the age of seven. She grew to young womanhood and was married at Coats, Kansas, at the age of 19, to Charles E. Elliott. Surviving are two brothers, Will Parker, Fort Morgan, Colo., and Fred Parker, Pratt, Kans.; two daughters, Bernice Pack and Bertha Swigert and one son, Charles; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Christian Church of Chester. Funeral services were conducted from the Bachelor-Faulkner-Dart chapel (sic) in Belleville. Singers were Mrs. Melvin Crouse, Mrs. Donald Eickman, G.D. Van Cleef and Donald Eickman, accompanied by Mrs. Ed Reed. Casketbearers were G.H. Navis, John Sell, Adrian Dake, Lawrence Eickman, Merton Pressnail, and Walter Mosier. Interment was made in the Chester cemetery (sic).
