Description	:	Carolyn Laura (Falck) Larsen passed from this world on Saturday, July 9, 2016, in Fremont, Nebraska, at Nye Legacy where she had been residing under the care of a loving staff for two and a half years. On February 28, 1927, a beautiful first born daughter, Carolyn Laura, was born to Paulus and Laura Marie (Johnson) Falck. They resided in Cordova and she was later joined by three baby brothers, Franklin, Kenny and Gene, making their family complete. On February 28, 1927, a beautiful first born daughter, Carolyn Laura, was born to Paulus and Laura Marie (Johnson) Falck. They resided in Cordova and she was later joined by three baby brothers, Franklin, Kenny and Gene, making their family complete. Carolyn had a lot of spunk as evidenced in pictures and stories of her growing up years in that small town of Cordova. Carolyn was a baptized and confirmed member of the East Danish Lutheran Church in Cordova. Carolyn graduated from the school of Cordova in 1944. She completed her education from York, UNL, and the college in Laramie, Wyo. She acquired a teaching certificate and enjoyed her time teaching in Cordova, Alexandria and a country school. Carolyn married Knud G. Larsen on July 29, 1951. She proceeded in life by her husband's side working various jobs, including the Elgin Watch Factory, Deitz Music, cleaning homes and working with her husband running their Dairy Queen in Crete, and the raising of their five children: daughter Vali, born on their third anniversary, and four boys; Kim, Gregg, Marty & Brad. Carolyn spent many happy years as a stay-at-home mom. She also loved being a grandmother & great-grandmother. As a mother she taught and shared many things, including faith in Jesus Christ, the love of music, theatre, movies, literature and travel. Carolyn and Knud both loved adventure and consequently spent time living in many Nebraska towns, including Cordova, Lincoln, Decatur, Crete, Exeter, Kearney, Johnson-Brock, Elmwood, Fremont and time in California. Carolyn will be greatly missed, but joins her Lord, husband, parents, brothers Kenneth and Franklin and son Gregg in eternal life. She is survived on this earth by: brother Gene and wife Jan Falck; sisters-in-law, Connie Falck and Bernadeen Larsen of Syracuse; daughter, Vali and husband Gaylord; and sons, Kim Larsen, Bradly Larsen, Marty and wife Joan; son-in-law, Jeff Eye; and grandsons, Paul Larsen, Mark Larsen, and Grant Mussman and wife Karin; great-grandsons, Rex and Chase; granddaughter, Gena and husband Aaron Van Osdel; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral Service on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cordova. Interment at Zastrow Cemetery in Cordova. Obituary information from the Lincoln Journal Star.
