GARLAND Mrs. Carrie Agnes Garland, 74, of RD 4, Oldtown Road, died last night in Memorial Hospital where she had been admitted May 11. Mrs. Garland had been in failing health four years. A native of Roane County, W. Va., she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Bevan. A native of Roane County, W. Va., she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Bevan. She was an active member of Davis Memorial Methodist Church, the WSCS of the church and its Mary Martha Bible Class. She is survived by her husband, Boyd B. Garland, one son, Rev. Harold R. Garland, this city; three daughters, Mrs. Edwin Shank, Mexico Farms; Mrs. Kenneth Mock, Miles City, Mont., and Miss Gertie Garland, at home; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, and a brother, John M. Bevan, McKeesport. The body is at the Hafer Funeral Home where friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The body will be taken to Davis Memorial Methodist Church at 2 p.m. for services at 3 p.m. Rev. Dallas C. Bivins, pastor of Second Baptist Church, will officiate, assisted by Rev. Charles Starkey, pastor of Davis Memorial Church. Interment will be Davis Memorial Burial Park.
