Description	:	CAVE, CARRIE ANNA of Washington, D. C. , w/o John H. Cave, died of pneumonia at the hospital in her home city on May 1st (1911) aged 23 years 10 months & 6 days. Her death followed an illness of nine days previous to which time her health was good. Mrs. Cave was a d/o Mr. & Mrs. William H. Jenkins residing just south of Luray. Her marriage to Mr. Cave, who is a s/o Mr. & Mrs. Joseph A. Cave of Ida, took place June 1st. 1909. A child, thirteen months of age, survives the young mother. She was... Read More	CAVE, CARRIE ANNA of Washington, D. C. , w/o John H. Cave, died of pneumonia at the hospital in her home city on May 1st (1911) aged 23 years 10 months & 6 days. Her death followed an illness of nine days previous to which time her health was good. Mrs. Cave was a d/o Mr. & Mrs. William H. Jenkins residing just south of Luray. Her marriage to Mr. Cave, who is a s/o Mr. & Mrs. Joseph A. Cave of Ida, took place June 1st. 1909. A child, thirteen months of age, survives the young mother. She was a member of the Dunkard Church. Devoted as a wife & mother the young woman's death is a blow to her husband & an irreparable loss to her infant child. The latter is now in the care of its grandparents near town having been brought home to its grandmother, Mrs. Jenkins and uncle Fred Jenkins the latter part of the week. The deceased was anointed just before death according to the rites of her church. The funeral took place on Wednesday. The remains being laid to rest in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Ernest Cave, Joseph Lillard, J. M. Foster, Hubert F. Sours, Nebraska Foster & Chester C. Sigler. Mrs, Cave is survived by 4 brothers, Fred, Floyd, Charles & William Jenkins & 3 sisters, Mrs. Ben Cave & Misses Ruth & Mamie Jenkins all of this county. Her remains were accompanied here by her husband & her sister-in-law, Mrs. E. H. Cave & brother-in-law, Herbert Cave. (PNC)
