Description	:	Carrie L. Wilmoth Mrs. Carrie Louise Wilmoth, 84, a resident of Brown Avenue in Belington, passed away Monday, Feb. 9, 2009, at her residence. She was born June 30, 1924, a daughter of the late Fredrick Delaware and Carrie Right Bibey. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was born June 30, 1924, a daughter of the late Fredrick Delaware and Carrie Right Bibey. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Maurice Bibey of Belington, Bernard Bibey of Rising Sun, Md., Millard Bibey of Norfolk, Va., Hubert Bibey of Akron, Ohio and Fredrick Bibey Jr. of Akron, Ohio; and two sisters Wilma Bibey of Belington and Elizabeth Jones of Philippi. One grandchild, Stephanie Ann Harsh, also preceded her in death. On June 16, 1946, she was united in marriage to Ira S. Wilmoth, who survives at their home in Belington. They had celebrated 63 years of marriage. In addition to her husband, also surviving are two daughters, Dr. Sharon Harsh and son-in-law, Ronald Harsh, of Belington and Shelia Sheets and son-in-law, Roland Sheets, of Charleston. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Dr. Veronica Harsh and Michael Mallory of Charlottesville, Va., Ronald Todd Harsh and Amanda Harsh of Fairmont, Matthew Ashby of Charleston and Adrianne Adams and husband, Chris Adams, of Charleston. Other survivors include one sister-in-law, Betty Bibey of Akron, Ohio, and a sister-in-law, Helen Martin and husband, Dr. Jack Martin, of Charleston, S.C. Mrs. Wilmoth was a graduate of Belington High School. During World War II, she worked at the Goodyear Aircraft plant in Akron, Ohio. For years, she was employed by Barbour County Schools, and for years she was employed by the Belington Bank. She attended the Shenandoah Conservatory of Music and served as choir director at the Westside United Methodist Church for more than 40 years. She was active in directing community cantatas and enjoyed all types of classical and religious music. She was a member and past Worthy Matron of the Belington Chapter No. 68 Order of the Eastern Star. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Mountain Hospice, 1410 Crim Ave., Belington, W.Va. 26250. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the love and kindness shown to them by their neighbors, church family and friends. Friends will be received at Talbott Funeral Home, 210 Brandenburg St. in Belington from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today. At 7:30 p.m. today, the Order of Eastern Star Chapter No. 41 will conduct memorial services. Friends will also be received on Thursday, Feb. 12, from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m., the funeral hour, when final rites will be conducted from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Robert Baer Jr. and the Rev. Arden Beck officiating. Interment will follow in the Stringtown Cemetery near Belington.
