In Pine Grove, Wisconsin on October 24th, 1897 she was united in marriage to Alfred Brown and to this union was born four children; Gertrude, who died in infancy, Mrs. Opal Grunke, Robert and Raymond Brown of Bingen, Washington. Also surviving are two sisters; Mrs. Anna Playle of Bingen, and Mrs. Sarah W. Coon of La Conner, Washington, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was the mother of the Eagles Auxiliary of Bingen for many years. On September 23rd Mrs. Brown departed this life at the Skyline Hospital in White Salmon at the age of 79 years.
