Will Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. McGee died Friday, June 13, 2003, at The Regional Medical Center, Orangeburg. Pallbearers will be H. A. McGee IV, Glenn McGee, Bill McGee, Mike O'Cain, E. R. Walter Jr., Wayne Bell, John Taylor, Mike Taylor and Barney Kearse. She was the widow of Hinchie Atkinson McGee, and the daughter of the late Eliza Gambrell and William Edgar Cason. She also was predeceased by a son, William Henry McGee. A native of Abbeville who spent her formative years as a resident of Anderson, Mrs. McGee graduated from Winthrop College. She settled in Orangeburg more than 60 years ago, and was an active and faithful member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church, the Moultrie Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Camellia Garden Club of Orangeburg, and the Chapter 62 of T.O.P.S., where she served as leader and treasurer for many years. Mrs. McGee was an enthusiastic and proud supporter of Clemson University athletics and the City of Orangeburg public and artistic events. Survivors include three sons, Hinchie Atkinson McGee III (Georgianna) and Edgar Cason McGee (Rosemary), both of Orangeburg and the Rev. James Rochelle McGee (Marty) of St. Matthews and Edisto Beach; grandchildren, Mallory Langston, Allison McGee, H. A. McGee IV, Casey McGee, Reedy McGee and Annie Martin McGee; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Megan Langston; and countless friends. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 15 at Dukes-Harley Funeral Home of Orangeburg, and at the home, Monday beginning at 11 a.m.
