Pyle was born at Richmond, Virginia, November 12, 1722, died at Lamoni, Iowa, December 15, 1905, aged 83 years, 1 month, and 3 days. Mrs. Pyle was the mother of eight children, four sons and four daughters, seven of whom are living, three daughters and one son, and several grandchildren being present at the funeral. She had been an invalid for years and through all her suffering exhibited a remarkable degree of patience. The funeral was held at the brick church, December 16, sermon by Elder John Smith, assisted by Elder J.A.
