She was born March 17, 1919, in Osmond to Peter John and Hildagard (Sauter) Mersch. She moved to Tilden in 1923 and then to Oakdale in 1935. Survivors include: her husband; two sons, Dennis (and wife, Rita) Bonge of Sacramento, Calif., and Lynn (and wife, Sandra) Bonge of Omaha; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Fremont with the Rev. Owen Korte officiating. There will be no public visitation. Closed casket visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Fremont. Catherine E.
