John was sixty-two and Catherine Albright was thirty-seven when they married. The 1900 census revealed John owned their farm free of mortgage and worked on his own account. John was born in February 1831 in Germany and immigrated in 1856. Catherine was born in March 1856 in Ohio and her parents were born in Germany. They had been married six years, had two children and two were still living. Household members: John G. Ebinger (69), Katie (44), Anna M. (5) and Catherine's brother, John Albright (54). The 1910 census revealed they lived on Dutch Road in Richmond Township, Huron County, Ohio. They had been married sixteen years had two children and two were still living. Household members: John G. Ebinger (79), Catharine E. (53), Anna M. (15) and boarder, Gilbert M. Clark (63). Their children: Renettie Louise Albright (Dellinger) (b.1871 d.1947) Anna M. Ebinger (Shade)(b.1895 d.1978) They had been married seventeen years when John died in 1911. The 1920 census revealed Catherine was a widow and her brother, John and daughter, Anna Shade and family were living with her. Household members: Catharine Ebinger (63), John Albright (71), Earl Shade (35), Anna (24), Charles (5), Willard (3) and Ernest (1). Her daughter, Renettie and family lived two doors away. The 1930 census revealed Catherine was living with her daughter, Anna Shade and family. Household members: Catharine Ebinger (74), Earl C. Shade (45), Anna M. (35), Charles E. (16), Willard M. (13), Ernest L. (11), Dalton A. (9), Mildred L. (7), Evelyn M. (5), Viola L. (3) and Herbert (1/12). Her daughter, Renettie and family lived three doors away. Catherine was buried 24 Jan 1937 in Bethel-Richmond Town., Huron County, Ohio in the Bethel Cemetery. Obituary (The Willard Times) {{Catherine Elizabeth Ebinger, daughter of John M. and Catherine Albright was born in New Haven township, March 13, 1856 and died at the home of her daughter on the Ebinger old home place on West Richmond Rd, January 21, 1937 aged 80 years, 10 mos and 8 days. Funeral services were held at the Union Bethel Church, Richmond - tp. Burial was in Bethel cemetery. Rev. G. C. Heffehinger officiating. She was one of nine children all but one of whom have preceded her in death. She was baptized in infancy by the Lutheran minister. Her mother died at her birth and her father died when she was twelve years old after which she made her home with the J. G. Ebingers. October 24, 1893 she was united in marriage with Mr. J. G. Ebinger. She was a hard working woman, an unselfish and helpful neighbor, a devoted mother and loving grandmother. She leaves to mourn for her; daughters, Mrs. Earl Shade and Mrs. Howard Dellinger and brother, Amos F. Albright, all of West Richmond - tp.; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grand children; other relatives and many friends. Though it seemed so short a while; Proud to think that we have known her. And have seen her blessed smile.
