Description	:	Catherine Martha Kamler was born to Henry Schafer and Mary (Doud) Schafer on June 7, 1887, on a farm in Fillmore County, Nebraska. She was one of seven children. She died May 2, 1980, at the Fillmore County Hospital in Geneva at the age of 92 years, 10 months and 25 days. On January 16, 1907, she was married to Henry Kamler and to them 10 children, five sons and five daughters, were born. She died May 2, 1980, at the Fillmore County Hospital in Geneva at the age of 92 years, 10 months and 25 days. On January 16, 1907, she was married to Henry Kamler and to them 10 children, five sons and five daughters, were born. Catherine was a life-long member of the Catholic Church and resident of Fillmore County, Nebraska. Preceding her in death were her husband, Henry; two sons, Ernest and Carl; two sisters and three brothers. Survivors are sons, Albert of Sutton, John of White House, Tenn., and Paul of Geneva; daughters, Mrs. Harry (Marie) Dondlinger and Mrs. Harold (Agnes) Kleinschmidt of Geneva, Mrs. Louis (Ann) Budler of Fairmont, Mrs. Merle (Emma) Beetley of Fairbury and Mrs. Gordon (Julia) Robare of Aberdeen, S.D.; one brother, Walter Schafer of Turlock, Cal.; 33 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Services were at 10 a.m., May 5, 1980, at St. Joseph's Church in Geneva, with Father Walter Banach officiating. Pallbearers were her grandsons, David Beetley, Lawrence Budler, Gene Dondlinger, Richard Kleinschmidt, Bill Kleinschmidt and Richard Robare. Interment was in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
