After Samuel's death Elizabeth married Jacob Kizer. 3) Mary "Polly" Briggs, b. 1800 in Pendleton County, Virginia (now West Va.); death 1840 in Morgan County, Ohio, USA. Married James Garvin. 4) *Elizabeth Briggs* Powell*, b. October 8, 1803, West Virginia, USA; d. October 20, 1834, Ohio, USA. Married William Powell. After Elizabeth died William married Mary Jane Anderson in 1836. 5) Eli Briggs, b. 1805 in South Charleston, Clark County, Ohio, USA; death possibly May 11, 1860 in Ohio, USA.
