Sept. 7 - Mrs. Catharine White passed away at her home early this morning after an illness of several months. She was 90 years of age. Mrs. White was born in Van Buren county near Birmingham Sept. 26, 1859 (sic). Her maiden name was Catherine Hughes. She was reared near Birmingham, but spent most of her later life in Jefferson county. She was married October 12, 1876 to Hiram L. Rodibaugh in Van Buren county. He preceded her in death December 7, 1909. Mrs. White married Hazen L. White Oct. 2, 1926, who passed away in July, 1944. She was a member of the Methodist church. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Libertyville Methodist church in charge of the Rev. L. M. Kirby. Burial will be in Fell cemetery. The body is at the Monger Funeral home in Fairfield. ------ Note: marriage date can be found as either October 12, 1876 or December 12, 1876.
